Stewards can now giver harsher penalties!

14 Dec

From the start of the next season, the race stewards can give exclusions from the race and suspend drivers from the next race. This is much harsher than what they use to be able to give which was drive throughs, time penalties and  move them down the grid in the next grand prix. The new penalties will be allowed to be given out if: a driver makes more than one change in direction to defend against a car, a driver takes a shortcut, or if a backmarker fails to move out of a faster cars way. The FIA are also currently planning to introduce a curfew on team members at races, on fridays (when practise starts at 10) it will run from midnight to 6am and on saturdays (when practise starts at 11) from 1am to 7am. Each team will be allowed four exceptions to this rule.
