This a new feature for the site and will closer link the blog and the twitter account ( @formula1formula).

After each race I’ll put the tweets that I feel were the best one’s I wrote, and the ones that portray the race:

“after dropping 10 places for his collision in FP3 Maldonado has now dropped another 5 places for a gearbox change” (@formula1formula)

“so the grid goes: WEB ROS HAM GRO ALO SCH MAS RAI VET HUL KOB BUT SEN DIR RIC VER KOV PET GLO DLR PIC KAR MAL PER” (@formula1formula)

“Karthikeyan will start from 22nd, which is his best this season” (@formula1formula)

“Webber holds everyone off to lead through turn 1” (@Formula1formula)

“2 laps in and a safety car, this could only be Monaco” (@formula1formula) Maldonado and Grosjean were the retirees from the first lap.

“4 cars lost in 10 laps (Gorsjean, Maldonado, De La Rosa and Kobayashi) if the rate continues no one will finish!” (@formula1formula)

“Massa is currently much quicker than Fernando, I repeat “Massa is faster than you”” (@formula1formula) with Massa lapping faster than Alonso it brought back memories of Hockenheim in 2010.

“Petrov is OUT of the race with electrical problem” (@F1_fans_updates)

“Heikki Kovalainen is running in 13th and only 1.2 seconds behind 12th. Could we see points?” (@formula1formula) It was a good day for Caterham even if the last few laps brought them a few problems.

“Fernando Alonso has just set the fastest lap, where did that come from, he was dawdling a second ago!” (@formula1formula)

“it’s embarrassing when Kovalainen is pulling away from Button” (@formula1formula)

“Kimi Raikkonen has been told to stay out despite his tyres ‘hitting the cliff'” (@formula1formula)

“MAS pits from the lead, VET takes the mantle. MAS re-emerges behind MSC, has lost a place in the stops.” (@RichlandF1)

“Rain has stopped falling in the pit lane. Lotus engineers reckon there will be no rain. PER sets the fastest lap” (@RichlandF1)

“How may overtakes so far? 4 ?” Lap 51 (@JackLeslieF1) it wasn’t a race for those who love overtaking moves

“Some drops of rain…” lap 64 (@insideferrari) after the rain speculation ending it all started again for the last 14 laps

“Mark Webber has now led 500 laps in #F1” lap 65 (@F1_fans_updates)

“after about 60 laps of not much we could now get some really exciting 12 laps as rain is coming” (@formula1formula) in the end the hoped for rain was only a few drops and didn’t really affect the result.

“Lewis Hamilton reporting a light keeps flashing on his dashboard. Car probably needs a service.” (@GrandPrixDiary)

“Vergne has come into the pits for INTERS!!” Lap 71 (@F1_fans_updates) in the hope for rain Toro Rosso made a mistake that took Vergne from 7th to 12th

“6 races 6 winners, amazing season this is going to be” (@formula1formula)

“FERNANDO ALONSO LEADS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP” (@RichlandF1)

“driver of the day …… Heikki Kovalainen” (@formula1formula) he drove a great race keeping world champion Jenson Button behind him and if it wasn’t a few problems near the end he could have finished 11th.
