Formula student Silverstone 2012

10 Jul

Formula student is a race event where universities enter their own racing cars to get marked over a variety of categories to decide which university has made the best car.

The event at Silverstone is coming up this weekend (14-15 July), and will not only let fans see the engineers of the future but also lets you have a look around the iconic circuit and enjoy watching racing cars compete.

To get a ticket for the weekend on the day all you have to pay is £12.50 (+VAT) which in these modern days of expensive GP tickets makes it a very price efficient weekend to enjoy the event and the iconic circuit, although I imagine once you’re in the complex prices may go up (the circuit being used is the national circuits, so it’s the old pit lane which is being used).

If you do make it to the event then please tweet me (@formula1formula) and I’d be delighted to meet you.

See you there!
