After a lack of fuel forced Vettel to start last weekends Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from the pitlane Red Bull’s engine manufacturer Renault has announced they think it was a problem with the equipment that caused the problem. Full Story: AUTOSPORT.com 

After retiring from the lead in last weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton has said that he believes reliability problems have hindered his performance this season, but still insists he still has “full confidence in the team.” Full Story: Bettor.com

On the second day of the Abu Dhabi young drivers test it was Red Bull’s Antonio Felix da Costa who topped the time sheets. The young Portugese driver set a time of 1 minute 42.679 seconds (slightly slower than the fastest lap on day 1) and was half a second faster then second fastest Oliver Turvey who was driving a McLaren. A green initative that would see F1 cars have to run under electric power when in the pit lane has been delayed from the origional 2014 date after 3 F1 engine manufacturers all asked for it to be postponed. Full Story: AUTOSPORT.com

Reports that HRT reserve driver Ma Qinghua will drive for the team nest season have been put to rest after it has emerged that there was a misunderstanding at the press conference to congratulate Ma over the start of his F1 career after performing in firday practice sessions for the team. McLaren team principle Martin Whitmarsh has said that only time will tell about McLaren’s decision to sign Sergio Perez for 2013. Perez has finished on the podium 3 times this season and is expected by many to be on the path to bigger things but the young Mexican has struggled since the decision was anounced failing to pick up points in the last 4 races.
